What this page covers
This describes what MatterWell collects when you use the website and the application, and what we do with it. It is not a description of what your firm must tell its own clients.
Documents you upload
Files you upload are stored to serve your firm's workspace. They are encrypted under a key issued for your firm alone. We do not sell them, and we do not use the contents of one firm's documents to build features for another firm.
Account information
Sign-in is handled by Artemis, the identity provider Wildcard Corp operates. MatterWell receives your email address, name and group membership from it, and does not receive or store your password.
The contact form
If you send us a message through this site, we receive what you typed and your email address, and use them to reply. That message is delivered to us by Archer, the messaging service Wildcard Corp operates.
Logs
Our servers keep ordinary request logs — time, path, response status and source address — to operate and secure the service.
Asking us about your data
Write to us and we will tell you what we hold for your firm, and delete what we are not required to keep.
